I am in the process of buying a Jaguar XF from a main dealer and I wanted cosmetic insurance over a 3 year period. I was quoted £499 initially then £400 after saying I felt that was excessive. I decided to shop around and happened upon ALA and obtained a significantly lower premium for very similar cover, the exception being ALA charge £15 per claim whereas Jaguar was zero and I could also claim as many times as needed whereas ALA was a maximum of 3 times a year however given it is very unlikely I would claim 3 times a year I would have to have claimed 8 times just to bring it up to the same cost so to be a ‘no-brainer’. The website is very user friendly and I was done and dusted in a little under 5 minutes including the time it has taken to type this review!
